Establisment of the Organic Multi-Stakeholder Platform (Organic Platform)
Within the OT4D project, a project from Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), implemented by IFOAM Organics International, Helvetas Intercooperation and FiBL, The Organic Multi-Stakeholder Platform (Organic Platform) will be established and is planned as a multi-stakeholder group (network) which unites the private organic stakeholders in the respective country through a “platform” for cooperation, idea exchange, developing a joint activity plan to achieve sector and project relevant goals, addressing controversial issues as well as contributing to raising awareness for organic export related issues of the national organic sector. It is planned that the Organic Platform will unite different private organic stakeholders which, through cooperation, expand their opportunities and establish a long-term cooperation for the sake of the organic trade development in the respective country.
