Vebinar “The role of knowledge management and knowledge exchange for sustainable organic farming”

by in Event Calendar, News 12 May, 2022

Organic agriculture is knowledge intensive: many experts agree that the most important input is information, in particular information that is locally relevant and practical. Access to this input is not alway easy: keeping records is often a challenge, as much as finding the right information at the right moment.
Knowledge held by farmers and data collected on farms by the farmers themselves is not only essential for good organic farm management, but it can also be used in different ways, disseminated via many channels and provide various benefits for the organic sector as a whole. In this webinar we will discuss some knowledge management and exchange approaches available and relevant to the Serbian context, with a view to contribute to the growth of the organic sector.
