The National Dialogue on the Transformation of Food Systems in Serbia was held

The food system is an important segment in the economy, and Serbia has a clear vision when it comes to better food quality and sustainable production, it was said at the National Dialogue on the Transformation of Food Systems at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, which was organized in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Supply, which was opened by: Jelena Blagojević, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, and Lorenza Jachia,  Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Serbia.

Organic production and the application of IT solutions in it, the influence and importance of the economy in transformation, innovative solutions such as biodistricts, regional challenges and solutions, the ministry’s contribution to the transformation process of food systems were the topics of this dialogue, which gathered all relevant actors and enabled an open exchange of opinions on sustainable food production and preserving the safety of food systems, especially in the context of climate change and global political challenges.
