The first Kolubara biodistrict in Serbia and Southeast Europe presented at the 2nd Organic Districts World Congress in Portugal
Among the representatives of 23 nations from five continents, the representatives of Serbia Organica, Ivana Simić and Pavle Đorđević presented our country and our first Biodistrict Kolubara at the world congress of biodistricts that was held in Portugal, in the municipality of Idahha -a – Nova from July 29 to August 2 under the slogan “One Health, one Planet”.
It was also an occasion to celebrate 20 years since the birth of the first bio-district, which took place in Italy in Cilento https://www.ecoregion.info/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/CILENTO-brochure_EN.pdfand then biodistricts began to spread around the world.
Serbia is a signatory to the Declaration of this world congress, which recommends established priorities and tasks in the further development and construction of biodistricts around the world, in the next 5 years.
As part of the exhibition, organic wines from Plavinci Winery and other organic products from Serbia are displayed.
