Apple picker

A push-driven designed downed-apple picker for the backyard to small sized orchard is another innvention to facilitate manual work on the farm. This is not the „machinery“ used to pick apples for consumers due to spikes on the barrel, but for apples to be processed further.
It is very easy for use, simply adjust the barrel height by moving the bolts on both sides of the machine to where the spikes are 1-1/2 to 2” off the ground, then roll the Picker over any downed apples and watch them spin from the bottom part of the barrel right into the collecting container. During operation the spikes will puncture the apples, so best use would be for apples used in pies, cakes, cobblers, sauces, juices/ciders and other recipes where they need further breaking down.
